New Player Guide to CraftWorks Reloaded
Welcome to CraftWorks Reloaded! If you're new, start here. You can be exploring in a few minutes.
Your first five steps
Create an account on this website. Use the Sign Up button, finish registration, and log in.
Join the Minecraft server using the server address shown on the website. You can enter the server before registering, but linking your account is how you unlock the Member rank and website benefits.
Link your Minecraft character. While signed in on the website, open the Minecraft account-linking page (inside my account) and generate a one-time code. In the server chat, type /cwlink YOURCODE using the code shown to you. Codes expire and can only be used once; generate a fresh one if yours fails. Make sure you're linking the Minecraft account you actually play on.
Join the Discord: https://discord.gg/BUY4ZgavKc
ask questions, meet other players, and follow announcements there.
Head to the spawn portals to choose your world. Run /spawn whenever you want to return to the main hub. Or use /sw spawn to get back to the spawnpoint of whatever world you are in.
Your linked website account grants Member. Member+ is free and is earned through activity and upvotes on the website once you meet the required threshold. Donor and higher ranks add perks and inherit the benefits of the ranks below them. If you buy an eligible rank, the linked Minecraft account should upgrade automatically after the payment is confirmed; while you're online, allow about a minute for the sync, or reconnect if you were offline. Never post your one-time link code publicly.
Picking a world
The hub has portals for the main Survival, PvP, and Creative areas. Walk into the portal marked for the world you want. Use the relevant portals to reach other destinations, including PvP's Nether and End where available. /spawn takes you back to the main hub. The server handles world inventories separately where configured, so put valuables somewhere safe before changing modes; Creative items are not meant to be carried into Survival or PvP.
Survival is the place to explore, gather resources, build a base, and team up with your friends for normal progression. PvP is for players who want the added risk of combat; treat its Nether and End as part of the PvP world group. Creative is for building on plots, not farming supplies for other worlds. In the Creative plot world, stand inside an unclaimed plot and type /plot claim; use /plot sethome and /plot home to return, /plot info for its details, and /plot add PLAYER if you want to build with a friend. A plot home is separate from your regular /home slots.
Homes: save your location before you explore
After earning Member, stand somewhere safe and type /sethome survival in the main Survival world. In the PvP world group, use /sethome pvp. Return with /home survival or /home pvp; use /homes to see your saved homes and /delhome NAME to remove one. /simplehomes info shows the current limits in game.
Current home rules: one home in the main Survival world (world), plus one shared PvP home across pvp, pvp_nether, and pvp_the_end. For example, a home set in the PvP Nether uses your one PvP slot; it does not give you an extra slot for the PvP Overworld. You cannot set a regular home in Creative. More expensive ranks do not automatically add slots under these SimpleHomes rules. If a group is full, delete the old home before setting a new one. Homes saved before these rules were introduced are kept, but a full group will still block new homes. Choose a safe spot: a home is a teleport destination, not a land claim.
Finding a place and protecting it
/wild is your quick random teleport for heading out to explore. Use it in the world where you want to adventure, and check your surroundings before building. If /wild is unavailable in your world, ask staff which world supports it. Set your home once you've found a spot you like.
In Survival, claims protect land from other players. Start with /claim help, then /claim wand: left-click one corner and right-click the opposite corner of the area you want. Run /claim create NAME to protect it, /claim info to inspect it, /claim show to see the boundary, and /claim add PLAYER to trust a friend. Claim size and count depend on your available tier. For chests and other blocks, use /lock to secure a block and /unlock to remove your protection. Be careful whom you trust: trusted players can interact with the space or containers you've shared. Claiming land will NOT work in the PVP world - anything goes. Griefing, looting, PVP.
Money, skills, and enchanting
The server uses an in-game money balance for the shop and player transactions. /bal checks your balance, /shop opens the item shop, /sell lets you sell eligible items, and /pay PLAYER AMOUNT sends another player money. /baltop shows the balance leaderboard. Shop prices and eligible items are shown in the menus, and some ranks get shop discounts. Experience levels and skill XP are separate from your money balance.
Hold the item you want to enchant in your main hand and type /enchantgui. The menu shows the enchantments available to your rank and their displayed costs. Member starts with the early enchant tiers; higher tiers depend on rank permissions. (Yes normal vanilla enchantment tables still work) You can also level skills through normal play; /skills opens the AuraSkills menu if enabled, and /challenge shows the current server challenge and remaining time. Harvesting eligible crops can award HarvestEXP, with a notification that adds together rapid harvests.

Commands and perks can differ by rank or world. If a command says you lack permission, check your website link and current rank, then ask for help in Discord. If a portal, home, claim, or purchase is acting strangely, include your Minecraft username, the world you're in, the command you tried, and the exact error message when you ask staff. Keep the server fun for everyone, protect your builds, and enjoy exploring!
